How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Account Information: We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account, we will delete all associated information within 30 days.
  • Calendar Events: We cache your calendar events for a period of 14 days to provide optimization services. These are refreshed as needed for optimization operations.
  • Authentication Tokens: We retain your Google authentication tokens while your account is active. These are immediately revoked and deleted upon disconnection of your Google account or account deletion.
  • Optimization Preferences: Your optimization preferences are retained while your account is active and deleted along with your user account data.
  • Optimization History: We retain your optimization history for 90 days to provide you with context on past suggestions. This history is deleted upon account deletion.
  • System Logs: We retain identifiable system logs for 30 days for troubleshooting and service improvement purposes.

Your Deletion Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information at any time. You can:

  • Disconnect your Google account from CalPal through your account settings
  • Delete your account and all associated data

When you disconnect your Google Calendar, we immediately cease accessing your calendar data and remove our app from your Google permissions.

To exercise your deletion rights, visit your Account Settings page or email us at privacy@calpal.email. We will process your request within 30 days and provide confirmation when completed.
